Ground Loops
United Heating can supply and install 40mm ground loop pipe work or 32mm slinky pipe work, depending on design of the ground loop, we also supply and install all the other materials required to carry out the connection between the ground loop and the heat pump. This pipe work and fittings are usually kept in stock at the head office in Frome. We also offer supply only for people who wish to install their own pipe work, our technical staff can assist either by telephone support or a few hours training on site. It’s important that the amount of pipe work in the ground is calculated correctly to insure the correct efficiency and operation of the heat pump is achieved, it’s also essential that all ground loop pipe work is pressure tested before backfilling, again we can offer this service if required. Ground loop trenches are usually down to the customer or builder, however we can recommend a contractor should you require one.
